A lot inside a small envelope

C. Mehrl sent another one of her envelopes full of all sorts of mail art-related things.

Something from the eternal network for me to add to.

A little artistic pamphlet.

Some artistamps.

And a warning.

How are your new year resolutions going?

Carroll sent me this great envelope that arrived this week on the first day of the Year of the Boar. Carroll always makes such interesting faux stamps.

With a great house (for smurfs? dwarves?) on the back.

Inside was a nice new year card, complete with suggested resolutions.

The card even has a blank space for you to add your own. I hope Carroll doesn't mind my sharing hers. They seem to be the same as mine :)

And if you want to create your own, here you go:

Did you make any resolutions? How are you doing at keeping them?

The skulls

Keith sent me this stunning print.

And in the same mailing were these incredible artistamps. I'll have to remember I have them for next year's Halloween.

The clowns are here!

I know some people have a dreaded fear of clowns. If that's you I am sure you didn't participate in the clown mail art call.

This excellent documentation of the Cascadia Clown Parade arrived in time for Halloween in this envelope - I love the artistamps.

And some selected pages

To Mindaugas

I forgot to scan the pieces I sent to MIndaugas. If he shows them at IUOMA I'll copy them here.

They were sent in this envelope, made from an art gallery flier.

Mail Me Some Art - Found Poetry

I decided to guest host an MMSA exchange with the theme of Found Poetry.

I didn't participate in the exchange myself, however I was fortunate enough to receive bonus cards from Susan

and from Laurie.

Both arrived on 'Big Mail Monday'. In these great painted and rubber-stamped envelopes.

The added bonus of hosting one of these swaps is the wonderful selection of envelopes swappers send their postcards in. It was also great to see several first-time swappers, including Rachael who takes part in Jean's envelope exchanges.

From Veebee and from Constance:

From Judith:

From Laima:

From Lynn:

The idea of MMSA is to send postcards through he mail, however Andrea's were sent to her in this envelope with a few added artistamps.

Imagine Peace

I received an add and pass from William quite some time ago. As they are not among my favorite things to do, it took me some time to finally add something. I forgot to take a before picture, but here is the sheet in its current state.

It has been around for some time, some of the addresses are dated almost 10 years ago. The instructions said to return a copy - but to whom? So I sent a copy to everyone who had an address on here - we'll see what happens! (I forgot to scan one of the envelopes).

And Katerina received the original to add something to.

Update! My envelope to Elke clearly arrived, as she sent me this postcard in reply:

This translates to: Homeland Pictures, and Birth, Rearing, Slaughtering, Dissection, Packing.
