L/ART/DU/PAP/ER

Wonderful paper bag from Eric, with perfect stamps. I get the feeling I'd be in big trouble in one of these stores.

  1. I guess that me too... Those stamps are among my favourite. I think they are perfect to write a letter using a fountain pen (which I don't own!).

    3. It would not help me with my mission this year to use up cards and envelopes I already have.

  2. This store is a very nice place. Actually thay have several stores in Paris. It s hard to go there without buying anything.
It s intetesting to see that only one stamp got cancelled. It is always a challenge when you don t put all stamps at the same place...

    1. I think the machine always looks for top right (or bottom left). Here in the US the machines never look for the other corners. I feel like some countries' machines do - like Spain, and maybe Netherlands.

    2. Some Dutch cancellations look as if the postal machine has been really searching for the stamps, meanwhile canceling, even across the envelope :-)

    3. One from Eva had a huge battle with the cancellation machine, and in the end the stamp was still not cancelled. Link
