Well, Eva suggested that I take part in the Blogging from A to Z April challenge. I decided I wasn't going to at first, however the upcoming posts weren't too hard to organize alphabetically. There is an A-Z post every day except Sundays, except Z on Sunday the 30th. So here we go...

Ptrzia always sends such amazing things. This beautifully packaged set of artistamps (also called faux postage, or cinderella stamps) celebrating Georgia O'Keefe was in response to my banana postcard! Great fish rubber stamp, too.

Bananas in

The Feb banana exchange was not done in an organized way, instead we were encouraged to send to whoever we wanted to. Here's what I sent out:

So here are the bananas that showed up from Momkat,

and from Tic-Tac.

Banana Day

Another Banana Day occurred April 20.

This is what I sent out.

And this is what came in.

First, minions from MomKat.

The next day, this much-delayed banana from MomKat showed up.

stripygoose's banana mail showed up next, forsooth! Even the stamp is banana colored.

The next three arrived on the eve of banana day.

From Dean, a little crumpled.

Perfect timing from TicTac, this one arrived on the big day itself with fantastic faux stamps.

A red banana from Carina showed up a few days later.

Sent in this great envelope - with fun (as always) Finnish postage.

And this last one was posted on April 20 in Brazil, arriving 3 weeks later. Thanks for my first Brazilian mail art, Intransferival!

Bananas in

A month ago was banana day - here's what landed for the celebration!

A joke and a giant banana artistamp... and its babies on the other side. And a ruby red £1.00 - the current one is brown; I like this color better. Thanks, Scott.
