Christmas Day Sunday Stamps

Today's theme is religious Christmas stamps, and Bridget sent me this lovely first day of issue postcard from Australia. I love the clean, stylized design of this stamp.

Envelope 812 & 911

Shoe

Bridget sent me a great envelope inside a plastic cover. Sadly the stamp fell off in transit.

And inside, a postcard of a decorated shoe she entered in a competition.

Moons!

USPS finally released a new global stamp on Feb 22 - and it is a beauty, featuring the full moon.

I have already sent out a few of them. One of my favorites is this one to Katerina in Greece - Greek airmail envelopes used to have blue edges, but lately she has been unable to find them - aargh, the slow death of snail mail.

Update!! The same week that Katerina received my 'Greek airmail' envelope, she found a stash of envelopes in a small shop - so she'll be sending them out again. 

I also sent moons to Eduardo Munez, Bridget and Eva.

January exchange - snowflakes sent out

I made a set of snowflake envelopes and used up almost all of my geometric snowflake stamps on them.

These are envelopes 619 through 626. Five for the swap, and three bonus envelopes to Jean, Jan and Bridget.
