Quidditch to Eva

Ah, Q, one of the more difficult letters for A to Z.

Eva had lamented the lack of a Q on her postcards, so I decided to send her one in the mail inside this envelope. She tried to convince me to take part in the A to Z challenge, and at first I declined. Now we're at letter Q - you can see what an influence she is on me - and I'm using the card I sent to her for myself!

Have you received anything in the mail that would work for the letter Q?

  1. Q is a difficult letter. It could be q for quilling as this piece of mail art I got : http://mymailartworld.blogspot.fr/2016/07/received-from-jocelyne-depierre.html

    1. One of the USPS Love stamps is titled Quilled Paper Heart - but it isn't one I receive on mail art very often.

  3. Hi Phillip - clever - well done ... Q's can be tricky - but creative thought always helps ... and especially advance creative thought for Eva and her Quidditch - cheers Hilary

    1. I'm glad it arrived in time, mail doesn't always travel on a regular schedule to Morocco.

  5. The Harry Potter film with the game of quidditch was shot at Alnwick Castle which is near us and a castle I included in an earlier A to Z Challenge a few years ago. Stamps, they are made for changing.

    1. I didn't know that Alnwick Castle was in the film; I've actually been there!

  6. I was thinking of qwerty, which Eva had sent me. Well, I received not really the qwerty itself, but part from it: loose keys (showing new words) from a keyboard :-)

And I received the queen on stamps (Dutch ones and the UK one).

And last but not least, regarding mail art: artistamps from Ptrzia, from the Quindi islands :-)

  7. My mail is decidedly boring. The only Q mail I get is an occasional questionnaire.

  8. I have not received anything in the mail that would fit for Q unless you count questions, as in census questions, or survey questions.

  9. Most efficient, smart move! I have received questionnaires and offers from QuikTrip in the mail. In fact, I've redeemed those offers from QuikTrip, so I was pretty efficient too.

    1. Yes, two for the price of one. Kinda like your discount QuikTrip.
